The brief for this project was to communicate an ordinary object in an extraordinary way. I chose to use the mirror in my room that suddenly broke one evening when I was at my desk. I have focused on six aspects of the mirror and researched them in depth to uncover unusual and 'extraordinary' features of the mirror. The aspects include: Journey, Before, The Event, After, Usage, Shards and Myths. I created a design that was abstract and contemporary using the mirror shards. The colours of my room create the palette for the design. I will be uploading more pictures of the book soon, keep a look out!
